I'm working on setting up my new homepage after a good while away from it all.

03.12.2008 - Lunch Hour Not Long Enough
Not too long ago I saw where some guy working in a Chinese restaurant had only 15 minutes for lunch. During those 15 minutes, he had to just stand back, relax right where he stood, and manage to gulp down some sort of meal. Incredible! So I guess I shouldn't complain that getting an hour for lunch just isn't enough time. But it feels like it isn't! I rushed home today, threw a microwave dinner into the new microwave, set it for 8 minutes since the packaging recommended 6-9 minutes, then I got on the computer to check emails. Eight minutes later, I noticed the horrible stench of burned food. The steak was brick hard, void of any moisture, and the mashed potatoes resembled crumbled cardboard. I cracked off a couple of bites from the salisbury steak (it still tasted good) but it was literally inedible. Oh well.

03.13.08 - Art Institute, Week 5 Begins
We just finished our fourth week of class, and we're off and running with week number five of my Photoshop class online. I've received two emails about buying books for the next course, and I couldn't help but feel disgusted about the blatant demand for money from these people. While I appreciate the opportunity to further my education, I'm sickened by how much money I have to bleed just to better myself. One of my books is sixty bucks, the other is forty bucks. Both, of course, are "REQUIRED" in big, bold, red letters.
